The years a boy or girl spends in the school should enable her/him to acquire sound principles of conduct and action, and lay a solid foundation for true and purposeful living when she/he attains womanhood/manhood. Principles of honesty, trust, co-operation, self-reliance and hard work are inculcated through various school activities.
In these activities the girl/boy learns to do things for herself/himself under the steady supervision of moderators. There she/he is given the opportunity to see the practical application of the abstract ideals of duty, co-operation and team-work, responsibility and mutual give-and-take that she/he has learnt in the class room.
School cabinet, debate, elocution, essay and poetry are some of the intramural activities. Dramas, general knowledge Quiz, holiday tours camps and excursions are being organized with a view to promoting the team spirit and co-operation among the students. Work experience camps, social work camps, leadership training service camps strive to conditions, spirit of right leadership and service.
Facilities are provided for the following games:
Football, table-tennis, badminton, volleyball, throw ball, kho-kho and athletics are encouraged at every level.
The keen competition in the playground tends to develop sportsmanship and healthy spirit of competition. While encouraging a high level of individual performance, fostering a spirit teamwork is even more strongly insisted upon.
